The Role:

We are looking to bring on a full-time Solutions Architect with a particular strength in integrating Customer Data Platforms and marketing automation tools. The ideal candidate is someone who is wholly invested in a full-time career in MarTech, AdTech, and product, and wants to grow with our company. The candidate has the opportunity to provide expert consultation across a wide variety of clients, directly influencing the technical outcome of their tech stack.

Responsibilities:

  • Guiding an implementation for a CDP (such as Hightouch or Segment) and/or Marketing Automation system (such as Braze or Iterable) from beginning to end, leading the documentation and planning process, all the way through writing requirements for the implementation of the actual code.
  • Recognize opportunities and solutions to key business challenges through technology, recommending additional tools and providing guidance on getting more value out of current tools, along with designing entire Martech stacks from scratch.
  • Provide specifications and requirements for the internal technical team, working with the technical project manager and engineers to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Leading implementation projects and consistently communicating on project deliverables with clients.
  • Acting as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) on certain sales presentations and standup meetings with clients, with the ability to speak confidently about their deliverables, ideas, and best practices.
  • Marketing analytics and reporting support as needed. Understanding user journeys, marketing automation, and customer data.
  • Understand multi/omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging.
  • A good understanding of user states, events, and user journey mapping.

Examples of projects this role would lead include:

  • Multi-tool MarTech implementations, including CDP and Marketing Automation Platforms according to business use cases and prioritization alongside business strategists.
  • Assisting in the creation of new marketing programs by translating technical requirements into the required code for various data sources, and how they would flow down into each destination.
  • Marketing automation migrations, including ensuring proper data schemas to maintain parity for clients' existing lifecycle programs, optimizing for new use cases, and enabling clients with new tool features.
  • Optimizing clients' existing lifecycle programs by improving data accuracy, identifying schema improvements, or identifying other efficiencies to drive greater personalized messaging.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience determining cross-platform technical requirements for tools across the MarTech stack.
  • Has platform experience designing and implementing solutions within Segment, Rudderstack, mParticle, Tealium, or similar CDPs.
  • Has technical experience configuring automated campaigns and journeys within Lifecycle marketing tools such as Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, customer.io, or similar platforms.
  • Has experience with other tools across the MarTech stack, including analytics, enrichment, and attribution.
  • Understands multi/omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging.
  • Understands marketing attribution and can audit platform integrations and attribution data.
  • Proficient with JSON or SQL/data modeling best practices.
  • Experience in data activation using reverse ETL tools like Hightouch or Census.
  • Proficient with scripting languages and lambda functions.
  • Has the ability to clearly articulate/present technical topics to a non-technical audience.
  • Has superior written skills, epic organization, email etiquette, and communication skills.
  • Is a people person. Has a good attitude, friendly, and thrives in a team environment.
  • Has excellent attention to detail, with the ability to read through emails and documents, and fully take in all information and break it down into tasks.
  • Is a self-starter and motivated.
  • Platform experience with Shopify or Magento.
