IT Business Systems Analyst required for an enterprise-scale business, based in Telford & Market Drayton, paying up to £60,000 + 10% bonus + excellent benefits. This is a hybrid role – 3 days on site and 2 days flexible working – with some travel to other locations throughout the year. A driving licence would be beneficial.
As an IT Business Systems Analyst, you will enjoy working with a broad range of users (both technical and non-technical), enterprise-scale internal systems, and creating solutions for real-world business scenarios. This role would suit someone who has worked with large, complex IT systems, integrating across multiple departments, platforms, and systems, and who enjoys getting involved in detailed business process mapping; this will be key to success in the role.
You’ll make a real impact across operations, logistics, transport management, and B2B systems, supporting an enterprise-scale environment. As part of an established team, you’ll help deliver improvements while also taking ownership of your own initiatives, with the opportunity to see your work make a tangible, real-world impact across the supply chain; offering excellent job satisfaction and visibility.
What a typical day might look like:
- Strong business process mapping
- Working closely with business users to improve systems and overall performance
- Driving continuous improvement across IT and business areas
- Collaborating with Group IT and third-party vendors to deliver meaningful system improvements
- Exposure to SAP, Microsoft 365, ITIL, and wider business support and operational systems
- Working with asset management, transport management, logistics, and supply chain solutions
- Building close working relationships within your team and across the wider business
