IT Project Manager required for an enterprise-scale business, based in Market Drayton, paying up to £55,000 + 10% Bonus + Excellent benefits. This role is 3 days on site, and 2 days remote working. Please note that this role will also involve occasional travel to other UK locations, particularly during key project phases. A driving licence would be beneficial.
As an IT Project Manager, you will enjoy delivering complex application focused projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and business-critical change initiatives. Experience working in a business that's made some Mergers & Acquisitions would be great however certainly not essential. You will gain exposure to projects involving system consolidation and integration.
This role would suit someone who has worked within large, complex IT landscapes, managing multiple stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and enterprise applications. You will have experience maintaining governance, delivery timelines, and business outcomes.
You will join a team managing multiple concurrent projects and you will need to be comfortable switching between projects and new priorities on a regular basis based on business need. You will have a huge impact and visibility on business success.
You’ll play a key role in delivering projects that impact core business operations, ensuring systems remain secure, scalable, and aligned with business growth and transformation plans.
What a typical day might look like:
- Managing end-to-end delivery of IT projects, from initiation through to handover
- Leading application upgrades, system migrations, and integration projects
- Supporting IT elements of M&A activity, including system alignment and data migration
- Working closely with business stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and success criteria - an excellent grasp of keeping everyone updated.
- Coordinating internal IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery
- Managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and change control
- Ensuring projects follow agreed governance, security, and compliance standards
- Producing clear project documentation and status reporting for senior stakeholders
