3rd Line Data Centre Support Engineer required for an established manufacturing & supply chain business, paying up to £42K + Bonus + Benefits. This is being offered as a hybrid role, with 3 days on site (Bridgwater or Stroud) and 2 days remote.

Please note; we do need someone with Data Centre experience.

The Opportunity: This is an opportunity for a 3rd Line Infrastructure / Data Centre Support Engineer looking to work within a stable enterprise environment (Circa 1500 Servers), supporting core business systems and infrastructure that genuinely impact day-to-day operations. You will be working at Enterprise Scale - with Teams across the UK, Germany and Poland - with a real focus on high quality, and high-availability systems and applications. There is a strong mix of BAU support, technical problem solving and project-based work, with opportunities to get involved in wider infrastructure initiatives as the environment continues to evolve and expand.

The Role: You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining core data centre infrastructure, with a focus on high-quality operational support and technical standards.

  • Supporting enterprise server and infrastructure platforms - Windows, some Linux, Hyper‑V, NetApp
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex technical incidents
  • Supporting virtualisation and hosted environments
  • Working within structured IT service management processes
  • Assisting with hardware lifecycle management
  • Supporting infrastructure monitoring and availability management
  • Contributing to documentation and technical standards
  • Experience of both on‑prem and expanding Azure Cloud offering
