Hands-on DevOps Manager / Lead DevOps Engineer required for a Global Software Solutions business to join their UK team, with offices globally, paying up to £84K + Benefits. This is a fully remote role, with no physical office in the UK.

As Hands-on DevOps Manager, you will be working with an established business that is heavily investing in its software solutions, cloud architecture, deployment, automation and infrastructure as code. This is a great period of growth.

This is a Hands-on DevOps Manager role where you will be leading your own team of 3, remaining very much hands on and working closely with the Software Engineering teams in order to improve pipelines, automation and deployment.

This is a hands-on role where you will be able to automate pipelines and builds, utilise your experience to aid teams with successful deployment, infrastructure as code and drive further improvements and share ideas.

Core skills will cover the following:

  • Broad Azure experience across Azure DevOps and Infrastructure, such as; Application Services, Front Door, Storage, Cache, Load Balancers.
  • Kubernetes / AKS
  • Scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, Python
  • Experience leading and managing a small team - Mentoring, Leading, Resource Allocation, Conflict Resolution
  • Experienced in improving and driving automation
  • Monitoring, insights and reporting - elastic or similar
  • Proven experience in CI/CD work and enhancements
  • Azure DevOps
