- We're looking for a proactive
Site Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Corby site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in maintaining a safe working environment, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics operation.
Working closely with the Site Engineering and Facilities teams, you'll be responsible for ensuring our building, equipment, robotics and automation systems are maintained to a high standard, supporting business continuity and delivering a safe, compliant workplace.
- What you'll be doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site.
- Responding quickly to reactive maintenance issues to minimise downtime.
- Supporting the maintenance, fault-finding and basic troubleshooting of distribution centre robotics and automation equipment.
- Coordinating and supervising external contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standard.
- Supporting statutory compliance, inspections and maintenance records.
- Conducting routine site inspections and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assisting with equipment installations and site improvement projects.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Supporting environmental and sustainability initiatives across the site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or building services engineering role.
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience with good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
- Experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Experience working with distribution centre robotics and automation systems would be an advantage.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and contractor management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with colleagues across all areas of the business.
