Job Description

Salary

Up to £37,901.82per annum (depending on experience)

  • Full Time | 4 on 4 off days (6am-6pm)

Site Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Corby site.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in maintaining a safe working environment, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics operation.

Working closely with the Site Engineering and Facilities teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our building, equipment, robotics and automation systems are maintained to a high standard, supporting business continuity and delivering a safe, compliant workplace.

  • What you’ll be doing
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site.
  • Responding quickly to reactive maintenance issues to minimise downtime.

Supporting the maintenance, fault-finding and basic troubleshooting of distribution centre robotics and automation equipment.

  • Coordinating and supervising external contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standard.
  • Supporting statutory compliance, inspections and maintenance records.
  • Conducting routine site inspections and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assisting with equipment installations and site improvement projects.

Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.

  • Supporting environmental and sustainability initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or building services engineering role.
  • Multi-skilled maintenance experience with good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
  • Experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with distribution centre robotics and automation systems would be an advantage.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and contractor management.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working with colleagues across all areas of the business.
