This varied role will provide a business-focused reward service to all areas of the business in relation to regional compensation and benefits policies. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency by contributing to the maintenance, development and implementation of reward strategies, practices, and programmes to ensure effective attraction, motivation, and retention of all employees.

Barchester are the only care provider to be accredited as one of the best companies to work for in 2019 and 2020, and the successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring the continued recognition of the exceptional service delivered by our care, nursing, and support teams. This is a remote position, with occasional travel to Inverness.

NEED TO HAVE:

  • CIPD qualification
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a large organisation
  • Flexible to travel to Inverness when required

NEED TO DO:

  • Monitor and report on regional compensation and administration to ensure compliance
  • Management of key annual activities including pay review, annual bonus, and living wage review
  • Support the implementation of benefits ensuring that they reflect our strategic principles
  • Assess return on investment
  • Develop personal expertise to ensure that the advice provided is always the most appropriate and considers the latest thinking
  • Provide analytical reporting of remuneration data
  • Prepare the Gender Pay Gap report on an annual basis for approval by Senior Management Team
  • Perform regular audits to check data and cleanse when required
  • Communicate regularly with employees regarding available rewards and recognition incentives
  • Ensure relevant documentation is regularly reviewed and updated
