Wellesley Hospital is a purpose-built 101-bed hospital providing care and treatment for men and women with complex mental health needs.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting service users to develop and enhance their communication skills. You will lead therapeutic group sessions, build strong one-to-one relationships, encourage engagement, and empower individuals on their recovery journey.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will benefit from support from a regional network of healthcare professionals, alongside access to a wide range of training and development opportunities to help you progress in your career.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

  • Provide specialist knowledge in areas such as acquired communication disorders, swallowing disorders, and mental health-related communication needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support recovery-focused care.

You will be based at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose-built 101 bed hospital providing specialist care for men and women with mental health conditions. Opened in 2017, Wellesley Hospital works in partnership with various NHS Trusts, helping to provide outstanding care and positive outcomes for service users.
