What you will be doing:

• With experience in mental health settings across the NHS or private sector, you'll lead the nursing team to deliver safe, structured and compassionate care within our 12-bed CYPMHS service.
• You'll champion high standards, support your colleagues, and cultivate a positive, learning-focused environment.
• As Ward Manager, you will:
• Provide clinical leadership, expertise and direction across the ward.
• Offer guidance, supervision and coaching to build a unified, confident and engaged workforce.
• Ensure high standards of care are maintained and continuously improved within the Clinical Governance framework.
• Lead by example, acting as a role model for safe practice, professionalism and compassionate care.
• Manage ward budgets, staffing and resources effectively.
• Work alongside the Senior Nurse to support the on-call service.
• Hold a key role within the MDT, acting as an expert resource in CMHS nursing.
• Maintain a collaborative, supportive environment where staff can reach their potential and deliver exceptional care.
• Take charge of the ward as the designated clinical leader.

• A relevant nursing qualification.
• NMC registration.
• Experience within mental health settings.

Location: Bere Clinic, Hemlock Road, Waterlooville, PO8 8QT. 12 bed CYPMHS service to support young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders. With an onsite school providing educational services while the young people are in our care and full multidisciplinary team, it's a great opportunity to be part of something new and help shape its future.
