What you will be doing:
- You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
- Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
- A positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important.
The shift pattern is 12.5 hours (including a 1 hour break) days, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends, 40.25 hours per week.
Where you will be working:
Location: Westpark 26, Chelston, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 9FF. You will be working at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose-built 101 bed hospital in Wellington (Somerset) for men and women with Mental Health needs. There are 6 wards for people with Mental Health needs and 1 ward for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
