What you will be doing:
- Monitor completion of clinical quality audits and associated action plans
- Oversee clinical competencies and ensure compliance throughout the unit
- Oversee cascading of lessons learned and ensure changes are embedded
- Provide assurances within the governance framework with regards to clinical quality compliance
- Lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit
- Work closely with the training department with maintaining high compliance
- Ensure that both internal and external compliance measures are achieved and maintained and enabled to be evidenced
- Monitor, report and escalate any clinical risks or concerns associated with audit processes
- Support with trend analysis from audits and clinical information and escalate accordingly
- Support the compilation of reports for governance and communicate findings and content within the meeting
- Lead on service improvements initiatives based on internal and external reports and action plans
You'll be a key driver of quality assurance, helping us maintain our CQC “Good” rating and build on our commitment to safe, responsive care.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in Mental Health services and a solid understanding of governance, safeguarding, and contractual reporting
- At least 2 years' experience working within Mental Health Services
- Experience of working within a framework of confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging professionals at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher)
- Ability to manage your workload independently, meet deadlines, and adapt under pressure
- A flexible, reliable, and team-focused approach

Location: Farndon Rd, Newark NG24 4SW. The Farndon Unit is a purpose-built hospital which provides services across low secure, rehabilitation and acute inpatient settings for women with Mental Health and personality disorder diagnoses.
