What you will be doing You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions , using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important.

But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you've made someone's life better.

This is a permanent, 35 hours a week, full-time contract.

Will be working on shifts, between the hours of 7am and 10pm, including weekends on rota.

Where you will be working: Location: Ormesby House, West Hill, Oxted, Surrey, RH8 9JB Ormesby House provides a specialist residential service for all gender identities who have a learning disability, or who are autistic, and have behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be of concern/distress.

Residents may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems.

As well as supporting individuals who have a learning disability, who are autistic, we are specialists in working with additional complex needs.

The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team of Support Workers, led by an experienced Registered Manager.

Ormesby House is situated in Oxted, Surrey and provides ten en-suite bedrooms, communal lounges and a sunroom along with a fully enclosed garden.

Oxted is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and there are many local shops, restaurants, and cafes.

The town also has a number of parks and green spaces.

In addition, there are many local sports clubs and facilities.
