What you will be doing You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions , using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important.

But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you've made someone's life better.

This is a permanent 30 weekly hours position, on the night shifts, working between the hours of 9.30 pm and 7.30 am Where you will be working: Location: 52a Dyke Rd Ave, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 5LE Dane House provides a specialist residential service for all gender identities who have a learning disability, or who are autistic, and have behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be of concern/ distress.

Residents may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems.

The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team of Support Workers, led by an experienced Registered Manager.

Dane House is situated in Brighton and provides six en suite bedrooms, there are also lounges, a dining room and kitchen alongside a large garden.

There is an excellent range of community facilities and amenities close by.

The service is situated a short walk from the sea.

Brighton has direct train access to London and the M23, M25 and A23 motorway.
