At Applied Thermal Control we are continuing to grow and are seeking an Electrical Engineer to:
- Create detailed electrical designs and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, for both standard and bespoke products.
- Collaborate on R&D projects to integrate new technologies into our product lines.
- Design solutions compliant with relevant industry and international electrical standards.
- Specify and source electrical components, adapting designs to meet global mains power variations.
- Work closely with our Technical and Manufacturing teams to bring your designs to life on the shop floor.
- Contribute your expertise to continuously improve product reliability, efficiency, and performance.
Required:
- Degree, HND or equivalent Level 5 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical, instrumentation & controls, mechatronics or a related discipline).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical engineering or a similar role.
- Proven skills in producing electrical schematics, ideally using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Hands-on experience with wiring and assembling electrical systems in machinery.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience managing electrical design projects for configurable products.
- Familiarity with controllers and PLCs.
- Knowledge of designing for global power supply standards and variations.
- Previous experience deploying products internationally, ensuring compliance with diverse electrical regulations.
