Our Professional Services organisation is responsible for the overall definition and delivery of professional services — implementation, consulting, and training — to Applied’s European market, supporting software sales and the ongoing optimisation of our industry-leading broker management system and extended solutions. You’ll work with a diverse mix of insurance brokers, getting hands-on with configuring our core application to meet their business process needs.
What You’ll Do
- Perform implementation, optimisation, and strategic consulting engagements with Applied customers based on a defined scope of work
- Engage with new clients, facilitating workshops to gather software configuration and business process requirements
- Deliver and/or manage education for Applied clients on our Broker Management Systems and extended solutions
- Perform reviews with existing clients to ensure optimisation of their processes, applying new software enhancements where relevant
- Articulate the reasons for change using strong business analysis skills
- Develop and maintain a functional understanding of the entire Applied product portfolio and how our solutions solve clients’ business processes
- Configure the core application to meet client needs, drawing on a good understanding of general accounting principles
- Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of Client Implementation methodologies, while staying abreast of insurance industry and regulatory changes
- Travel up to 25% (by car, plane, bus, or train) to support client engagements across our European market, as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Up to 1 year of directly related work experience, ideally in client service, leadership, or logistics
- Strong client service, project management, and quality control skills
- Good computer skills and comfort using business support software
- Strong resource planning and teamwork skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of the insurance industry and/or Applied’s product portfolio
- Basic knowledge of professional services within a software company
Bonus points if you also have:
- Diploma or degree in a business-related field, plus specialised training
- PMP, PRINCE2, CMI diploma, or BCS BA certification, or a strong background in software project management
Talent shows up in a lot of different ways, and we mean that. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experience levels, including military members and their spouses and those without a traditional degree or tech background. If this role speaks to you, apply.
