We’re searching for a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team in a hybrid work capacity from our Belfast or Brighton offices. If you enjoy solving practical problems in production systems, collaborating across teams, and steadily raising the quality bar, this is for you. This role operates in a 10 hour, 4 day compressed week (8AM to 6PM or 10AM to 8PM) on 28 day rotation with 4 day blocks including weekends.

What You’ll Do:

  • Follow security best practices to protect customer data
  • Troubleshoot app/database issues using structured diagnostics
  • Support incident response and service restoration with clear updates
  • Execute changes (updates, migrations, configs) within controls/windows
  • Monitor system health; resolve or escape risks appropriately
  • Maintain docs and improve processes through automation and collaboration

  • 3+ years of experience in a production operations environment
  • Strong troubleshooting across apps, systems, and databases
  • SQL & Microsoft Server experience (backup/restore)
  • Windows & enterprise infrastructure knowledge; monitoring/log analysis
  • Process-driven with solid judgment, communication, and teamwork

You may have other skills or credentials, including:

  • Experience with scripting, automation tools (e.g., PowerShell), AI Agent
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms (e.g., GCS, AWS) and related terminology
  • Microsoft or SQL certifications
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of other team members
