We formulate and produce lifestyle and sports nutrition supplements, grab and go snacks, energy drinks for professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts and the gym lifestyle community. We also produce pharmaceutical‑grade health, wellbeing and beauty nutrition products. As we continue our rapid global expansion, we are seeking a commercially driven, strategically minded Senior Influencer Marketing Manager to lead and scale our influencer and ambassador programme across the UK and international markets.
This is not a coordination role. This is a growth‑driving leadership role. You will own the influencer strategy end to end from talent acquisition and negotiation through to campaign execution, performance optimisation and commercial ROI delivery.
Strategic Leadership & Commercial Ownership
- Develop and lead a global influencer strategy aligned to brand growth, retail expansion, DTC performance and international market priorities.
- Own the influencer marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spend to drive measurable ROI.
- Establish scalable frameworks for ambassador, athlete and creator partnerships across multiple territories.
- Identify white space opportunities in emerging platforms, communities and subcultures.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align influencer activity with company revenue targets and retail partner objectives.
- Lead large scale influencer activations across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch and emerging platforms.
- Own campaign lifecycle management – talent sourcing, negotiation, contracting, briefing, approvals, execution and reporting.
- Manage tiered influencer strategies (micro, mid and upper tier influencers / elite athletes / celebrities).
- Drive product launches through creator‑led campaigns with clear sell‑through objectives.
- Oversee paid amplification strategies (Spark Ads, whitelisting, creator licensing).
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and exceed performance benchmarks.
Talent Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and manage long‑term relationships with athletes, creators, agents and management teams.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, usage rights and performance‑based structures.
- Identify and onboard high‑potential emerging talent before market saturation.
- Ensure brand alignment, professionalism and compliance across all influencer partnerships.
- Represent Applied Nutrition at events, shoots and talent activations.
Performance, Analytics & ROI
- Define clear KPIs across awareness, engagement, revenue, retail uplift and DTC conversions.
- Track performance using advanced analytics tools (EMV, CPA, ROAS, affiliate tracking, UTM performance).
- Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports to senior leadership.
- Optimise underperforming partnerships and scale high‑performing talent.
- Integrate influencer marketing within broader paid, retail and community campaigns.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Work collaboratively with Social, Design, E‑Commerce, B2B and Product teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Build and scale a high‑performing Influencer Marketing team, setting structure, processes and clear performance expectations.
- Contribute to overall brand strategy and cultural positioning.
- Support international distributors with influencer frameworks and playbooks.
Essential Experience & Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in Influencer Marketing, ideally within FMCG, sports nutrition, lifestyle or performance brands.
- Proven track record of delivering commercially successful influencer campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Experience managing six/seven figure influencer budgets.
- Strong negotiation experience with agents and athlete management teams.
- Advanced understanding of influencer marketing, social commerce and paid amplification.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
- Deep understanding of social trends, creator economy and emerging platforms.
- Exceptional communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels.
- Experience within a high‑growth or challenger brand.
- Established network within fitness, sport or lifestyle sectors.
- Experience launching new product categories via influencer‑led strategy.
