You will:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, address technical inquiries, visit customers regularly, conduct customer trainings and meetings, and complete documentation and reports.
  • Coach and direct your team of customer engineers (CEs), overseeing career and salary planning, daily schedules and workloads, corrective actions and performance reviews, and awards and mentor programs.
  • Manage other managers, including technical program managers, as needed.
  • Initiate, lead and monitor all operational excellence activities.
  • Be the prime interface with the Product Divisions (tech support, training, spares, reliability); work with Service and equipment Sales to identify customer-specific solutions.
  • Take responsibility for account planning and cost efficiency, working with the District Sales Engineer.
  • Oversee system installation, including planning, reporting and execution, pre-facility meeting, start-up meeting and process support identification.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all service-related issues in your area; communicate with internal stakeholders; and provide support to Sales and Technical Support teams.

You'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • 4–7 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • A strong understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct.
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise day-to-day work and coach and develop employees.
  • The ability to use tact and diplomacy to convey information and handle sensitive issues.

Nice to have:

  • An MBA degree.
  • Metrology/PDC knowledge.
  • DDP Knowledge.
  • FSO Experience.

You may travel 10% of the time. Be prepared to wear protective equipment and observe all safety standards. You may work on rotation and in shifts. You'll need a valid driver's license and passport.

At Applied Materials, we care about the wellbeing of our people, and we strive to support you in ways that extend beyond your work environment.
