This division is responsible for the MayTec range of aluminium profiles and steel pipe systems and as a Machine operative you will be responsible for processing those materials.
Purpose of the Role
The working environment is fast paced with a high turnover of projects each month. Previous experience of mechanical building or operating in a similar factory environment is necessary. Training in the products will be given.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Accurately cutting & milling MayTec profile for use in machine frames, guard frames, workbenches and conveyor systems from mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models to a high precision.
- Use of machinery including bed saw, wall saw, chop saw and milling machines.
- Use of hand tools such as hex keys, spanners, ratchets and hand drills.
- Unloading and booking in MayTec goods as part of a team.
- Picking of components as required/stock control aspects.
- Assisting with shop floor component assembly as and when capacity requires.
- Miscellaneous off-site work and shop floor labouring as and when commercially required.
Requirements
- Forklift License (Desirable)
- Capable of working to technical drawings.
- Experience in an industrial materials processing environment.
- Experience of hand and power tools.
- High attention to detail and H&S practices.
- Quality driven.
