As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic Security Analyst to join our team and support the Head of Information Security. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across information security, playing a key part in maintaining and developing Applicable's Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will help ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices, while supporting the achievement and retention of key security certifications. Working across governance, risk, compliance, and technical security activities, you will contribute to strengthening the organisation's overall security posture and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Support the maintenance of compliance with applicable security standards and frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017, ISO/IEC 27018 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • Assist in maintaining audit readiness and certification activities, including the preparation, coordination, and collation of evidence for internal and external audits.
  • Work collaboratively with DevOps and Product teams to support the implementation of security controls throughout the development lifecycle, promoting secure design, build, and deployment practices.
  • Coordinate and track audit-related activities, ensuring documentation and evidence are accurate, complete, and aligned to required standards.
  • Maintain and update ISMS documentation and records, ensuring they remain current, accurate, and audit-ready.

What You're Looking For

  • Technical certifications, for example: Microsoft AZ900, ComTIA Security+, ISC Certified in CyberSecurity (CC).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience in enterprise IT.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of information security.
  • Ability to map business needs to technical solutions.
  • Good understanding of information technology and security.
  • Good project, analysis, problem-solving and business relationship skills.
