At Applica, we’re looking for an experienced Global Sales Manager to join our team as we continue expanding our international consulting and workforce solutions offering.

Applica is a specialist recruitment company operating within the energy sector, resourcing projects for companies enabling the energy transition. Based in Manchester, our team partners with clients and contractors across the UK, North America, and Scandinavia.

The Role

This is an opportunity to join a scaling business where you’ll work directly with senior leadership to help shape commercial strategy, build international client partnerships, and influence the future direction of the company. This is a strategic, commercially focused role responsible for driving new business growth, developing existing client relationships, and supporting the evolution of our consulting and managed services offering across energy and infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with regional teams to identify long-term growth opportunities, support client development, and help shape the future direction of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving strategic business development across multiple markets
  • Building and developing long-term client relationships
  • Identifying opportunities across energy, engineering, infrastructure, and technology sectors
  • Supporting the growth of Applica’s consulting and managed service offering
  • Leading consultative, solutions-focused conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Collaborating with regional and operational teams across multiple locations
  • Representing Applica at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings internationally
  • Supporting the wider commercial growth and transformation of the business

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within business development, consulting, workforce solutions, or managed services environments
  • Experience within energy, engineering, infrastructure, technology, or other technical/project-led sectors
  • Strong background selling consulting, workforce solutions, MSP, RPO, EOR, managed services, or project-based solutions
  • Proven ability to develop strategic client relationships and generate new business opportunities
  • Commercially minded with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating autonomously whilst collaborating closely with wider teams
  • Willingness to travel internationally where required
  • Experience working across international markets would be highly advantageous
