We are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Records Administrator to join Appleyard Lees. As part of the Records team, this role supports the Records Manager and Records Paralegal and works closely with teams across the firm, contributing to overall operational efficiency and effective service delivery.

This position is hybrid working, and can be based at any of our offices – Leeds, Manchester, Halifax or Cambridge.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the internal deadline docketing system is consistently up to date, proactively flagging errors, and generating monthly completion deadline reports as required.
- Dealing with incoming official correspondence, drafting reporting emails for various official communications as well as correspondence to local teams.
- Running regular completion deadline reports, as well as checking expiry and case closure reports.
- Supporting the organisation and maintenance of original document storage, including responding to team and client requests for document or grant certificate retrieval.
- Assisting with the monitoring and processing of team inboxes, as well as assignment and recordal requests as needed.
- Contributing to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of team process guides, and providing training and guidance to Records Administrators.
- Collaborating closely with the Records Manager and Paralegal and providing cover for the Administrator role when needed.
Skills, knowledge and expertise:
- Proven experience working within an Intellectual Property firm.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a diligent and self-motivated approach.
- A fantastic communicator at all levels.
- Strong IT Literacy, with database management knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- CIPA / CITMA qualification desirable, but not essential.
- The ability to work well independently as well as within a team.
