Responsibilities
- Recording of temperatures as required daily and completing paperwork associated with kitchen duties e.g. Environmental Health Folder.
- Gathering of weekly/daily numbers required for dinner.
- To actively participate in the daily operation of the catering under the direction of the Childcare Manager.
- Development of a healthy menu and purchase order for use within the childcare facility in line with Healthy Eating Policy.
- Stock control and re-stocking of products and ingredients.
- The basic preparation of food and beverages including the preparation of vegetables and snacks using appropriate equipment.
- Simple cooking using healthy, wholesome ingredients.
- The transferring and serving of meals and snacks.
