Action4Care are looking for passionate, caring and proactive individuals to join our amazing team of support worker staff. This role will require you to work as part of a team to support vulnerable adults within a shared residential home setting. This includes but is not limited to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, Down syndrome, mental health, challenging behaviour and epilepsy.
Our aim is to provide person centred care to support and encourage service users to live as independently as possible whilst providing the right support to suit their needs. Your role will be to support individuals to carry out day‑to‑day activities both within their home and out in the community. You will also assist with personal care, administering medication, cooking, feeding, cleaning, shopping and general day‑to‑day tasks.
You must be willing to work a range of shifts on a 24 hour, 365 day basis (this includes bank holidays and weekends). Shifts are allocated alongside the needs of each service and your line managers will work closely with you for any commitments around your working schedule.
Experience is preferred but not necessary as full training is provided. Guaranteed contracted hours with opportunities for overtime. Overtime rate (50p above hourly rate).
Pension Scheme NVQ level 2 and above Free or discounted meals.
