The Role
As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in keeping this essential and picturesque network running safely and smoothly for residents, businesses, and visitors. As a Technical Assistant, reporting directly to the Area Manager you will:
- Contribute to the effective delivery of highway works by completing tasks assigned by the Area Manager.
- Manage, interrogate and coordinate complex databases and spreadsheets to support accurate operational planning.
- Produce high-quality maps, plans and technical drawings suitable for presentation and project use.
- Support data collection activities to inform revenue and capital scheme delivery.
- Organise, prepare and implement permanent and temporary Traffic Regulation Orders as required.
Be able to prioritise and organise your own workload as well as being able to work well within a team environment.
