Sunningdale are looking for a Support Worker to join their family run business! Sunningdale is a private family-run business, who support vulnerable adults on a day-to-day basis. The main job role is to provide social companionship and assist with social activities in the client’s home.
Responsibilities
- Provide social companionship and assist with social activities in the client’s home.
- Perform light domestic duties and light meal preparation.
- Assist with household administration, shopping, and accompany clients on trips/appointments.
- Build rapport with clients by visiting the same individuals over time.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with business insurance.
- Experience is not essential but desirable. Full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills; be self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
- This role does not require personal care, but may involve prompting with personal care.
Working patterns and location
- Shift patterns available: relief, part-time and full-time.
- All client visits will be between 7:30am and 6:00pm.
- Role is based in Scarborough and surrounding areas; weekend and bank holiday availability is required (7 days a week flexibility).
