As part of our catering team, you will be performing a variety of tasks to help prepare tasty, nutritious meals from locally sourced fresh produce. We are a ‘fresh food’ organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals. We are proud to offer a wide choice of healthy options to our children encouraging them to eat well and fuelling their appetite for learning.
We are currently recruiting for a few Relief Catering Assistants to join our team. Your role will be to support the Cook/Catering Manager in delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. You will be providing cover for holiday and sickness and will be responsible for carrying out basic food preparation, setting out and clearing away dining furniture, serving meals to students and staff, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining room.
You will be a valued member of our friendly team who is reliable, dependable and committed; although your hours may vary, there will be no weekend work! For this you will be paid £13.28 per hour. Mileage will be paid at 55p per mile.
