Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils in the dining hall, promoting safe and orderly behaviour
- Assist with collecting meals, clearing trays and maintaining cleanliness
- Support pupils with any specific needs
- Supervise pupils in the playground and outdoor areas
- Encourage inclusive and positive play
- Manage behaviour appropriately and ensure safety
- Report incidents or concerns promptly
- Provide basic first aid when required
General Duties
- Support setting up and clearing away dining furniture
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and play areas
- Ensure pupils return to class safely and on time
- Uphold behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times
Person Specification
- Reliable, punctual and committed to pupil wellbeing
- Calm, approachable and a good communicator
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- Willing to complete safeguarding and first aid training
