Are you customer focussed, have a passion for working with people, an interest in library services and communities, and are you tech savvy? As a Library Assistant, you will support the delivery of library and information services working alongside and supporting volunteers to ensure a high-quality service, support the delivery of activities and events, assist customers to access online information and resources, and encourage use by a wide range of customers.
Based at Skipton Library you will need to be available for some weekends and evenings. You will be passionate about books and reading, have excellent communication skills, the ability to work with a range of partners including volunteers, the ability to deliver a customer focussed service, and have literacy and numeracy qualifications equivalent to Level 2.
