The role involves:

• Undertaking assessments, identifying strengths and needs, implementing timely and proportionate interventions, signposting to relevant support services and where required, developing and coordinating packages of support to improve outcomes and promote independence.
• Building strong relationships with families and working in partnership with them across Child in Need (Section 17), Children in Care and Child Protection (Section 47) frameworks.

Key Requirements

• Must hold a relevant Social Work qualification (DIPSW, CQSW, Masters, or Degree in Social Work).
• Able to demonstrate skills and knowledge aligned with the job specification.
• Passionate about working with Children and Young people and committed to creating brighter futures for them.
• Must be registered with Social Work England.
• Confident spoken communication skills required.
• Proficient use of the English language is essential for this role.
• Access to a car along with a full clean licence.
