Sunningdale are looking for a Support Worker to join their family run business! Sunningdale is a private family-run business, who support vulnerable adults on a day-to-day basis. The main job role is to provide social companionship and assist with social activities in the client’s home.
Duties will include:
- Light domestic duties
- Light meal preparation
- Assisting with household administration
- Shopping
- Trips out
- Accompanying clients to appointments
Client visits are usually longer and with the same clients which allows you to build a rapport with the clients you are supporting and get to know them. Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence is required with business insurance. Experience isn’t essential but is desirable. Full training will be provided.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, organisational skills, be self-motivated, and able to use own initiative. This role doesn't have a requirement for personal care, but will require prompting with personal care.
There are a variety of shift patterns available from relief, part-time and full-time. All client visits will be between 7:30am - 6pm. The work will include weekends and bank holidays, so you will need to be flexible and available 7 days a week. The role is based in Scarborough and surrounding areas.
