Passionate about cooking? Looking for a role that fits around you? We are currently recruiting a Mobile Cook to cover in Ripon and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable and enjoys variety. You'll travel between schools, taking in the stunning North Yorkshire landscape along the way, peaceful countryside and rolling moors, working in some of the region's most beautiful surroundings.
As part of the role, you will:
- Prepare and cook nutritious food within a budget following all food legislation.
- Maintain an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety.
- Serve meals to students and staff, ensure food is ordered and manage stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, recording and documenting all relevant information following our food safety management system.
You will be required to use your own personal vehicle with business insurance. A mileage allowance of 55p per mile, plus travel time is also paid.
