About the Role:
As a General Teaching Assistant, you will:
- support teaching and learning through a range of planned and responsive activities
- work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress
- support pupils’ social, emotional and communication development
- contribute to the observation, assessment and reporting of pupil progress
- demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, supporting learning across different classes and age groups as required within our small school
As an After School Club (ASC) Assistant, you will:
- help provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment after school
- support activities and play opportunities
- ensure the wellbeing and safety of all pupils
As a small school, flexibility is essential and you may occasionally be asked to support across all classes.
We are looking for someone who:
- holds a full and relevant EYFS level 3 qualification
- has experience of working in a school
- is nurturing, patient and responsive
- has high expectations of behaviour and care
- works well as part of a team
- is flexible and adaptable
- is supportive of the Christian ethos of the school
