Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire - Sharow Primary School

We have an opportunity to join our award‑winning Facilities Management catering team in which you will provide tasty, home‑cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce. We are a ‘fresh food’ organisation that encourages children and young people to choose nutritious meals. We are currently recruiting a Cook to join our team at Sharow Primary School, Berrygate Lane, Ripon HG45BJ, catering for around 65‑70 meals per day.

As a Cook you will lead and support the team to deliver an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

Your role will require you to prepare, cook and serve meals to students and staff, set up and clear the dining hall, wash up, and perform other kitchen management duties such as ordering food, stock taking and administration. You will be a reliable, dependable and committed member of the team, working from 9 am to 1:15 pm, totalling 21.25 hours per week. You will work term time only and will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. Pay rate is £13.47‑£14.13 per hour, in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

DBS Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
