Riccall Community Primary School are seeking to appoint excellent, enthusiastic and hard‑working teaching assistants with a strong inclusive ethos to work in our school in the classroom. This role would be to work in a Y1/2 class, with a working pattern of Monday pm, Tuesday pm, Thursday am & pm & Friday am. The class assigned may change according to the needs of the school. There are a number of roles available with different working patterns and the current proposal is as follows. Please state on the application form if you are interested in more than one role. You do not need to fill in more than one application form.

The successful applicant must be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about learning throughout the primary phase of education, and an excellent team‑player who is willing to support other members of staff as well as the pupils. We are looking for someone who has the right qualities for our school:

  • Experience of successfully working alongside others to deliver high quality education
  • The ability to demonstrate high expectations and be committed to improving outcomes both socially and academically for all pupils
