Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis, budget monitoring and support to budget holders and senior officers.
- Contribute to business cases and financial planning.
- Shape financial processes and reporting for the Tees Valley Energy Recovery Limited (TVERL) programme.
- Build strong relationships across council services.
Qualifications
- Experience as a finance professional in the public sector (local government, education, health or similar).
- Strategic insight and ability to quickly establish credibility within a complex environment.
- Experience supporting waste management services is highly advantageous.
