Ashville College, Harrogate, is looking to appoint an experienced PA/Administrator who will be responsible for providing the highest level of confidential administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team in the Head’s Office.
The postholder will successfully manage complex diaries for the Head of Senior School and the Deputy Head Academic, and ensure that cyclical events and internal/external meetings are organised in a timely manner. Preparation of agendas and papers for management meetings, taking minutes, dealing with correspondence and preparing text for newsletters and Powerpoint presentations are key for the smooth running of this function. A first-class and professional welcome to visitors to the Head’s Office is paramount to reflect the ethos of the school and you will be expected to support the PA to the Head as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need have had significant experience in a similar role, supporting senior leaders, and be able to work calmly and in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, ideally in a school environment. Your ability to develop excellent working relationships, being forward thinking, and a good problem solver will need to be combined with tact, diplomacy and flexibility.
This permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) contract is a term-time only post, and salary is negotiable depending on experience.
