About this Role: This role will provide a high quality, effective cleaning service to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. The post requires working with cleaning equipment and products that contain chemicals, with protective clothing provided.

Working Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday-Friday 3.15-6.15pm), term time only, including training days and 2 weeks per year (41 weeks per year). Permanent position. No travel required. Salary dependent on current qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust.
  • Empty bins and manage waste responsibly.
  • Replenish supplies and report any issues or damages.

Qualifications / Expectations:

  • Hard-working, dependable team player.
  • Independent and takes ownership of tasks.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to meet cleaning deadlines.
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential – training will be provided.
  • Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks in line with the school's safer recruitment policy.
