We have an opportunity for an experienced Retrofit Coordinator to join our Sustainability team at Align Property Services. You will join a team of Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors and Designers to coordinate domestic retrofit programmes delivered to PAS 2035, improving homes across North Yorkshire. You will help shape solutions that are practical, compliant and deliver measurable benefits for residents and clients. Importantly, our retrofit work is not dependent on ECO funding. We have secured Warm Homes funding and, as a company wholly owned by North Yorkshire Council, we are an established route for delivering retrofit work funded through allocations made to local authorities, such as Warm Homes projects. This provides a stable, long-term pipeline of work.
This role is ideal for Retrofit Coordinators who may currently be working on ECO-funded schemes and are looking for a more secure future as ECO winds down.
As a Retrofit Coordinator, you will draw on your knowledge of PAS 2035 retrofit coordination to oversee the end-to-end process across multiple properties and programmes. Working with Assessors and Designers, you will coordinate energy modelling evidence (e.g. RdSAP/SAP), ensure robust documentation, manage TrustMark lodgement and help deliver outcomes across grant funded schemes.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a qualified Retrofit Coordinator (e.g. Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination & Risk Management) with minimum 1 year’s experience coordinating domestic retrofit (social housing experience advantageous).
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 and awareness of PAS 2030 requirements.
- Be comfortable coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers, managing concurrent schemes and deadlines.
- Have experience with TrustMark lodgement and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel when required.
- Retrofit Assessor accreditation/experience (e.g. DEA/Level 3 Domestic Retrofit Assessment) – desirable.
A competitive salary up to £48,000 per year, dependent on your skills and experience. Enrolment on to a company pension scheme which we will contribute to up to 6%. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with opportunity to purchase up to 10 additional annual leave days per leave year. Hybrid working to support you in a healthy work-life balance (typically up to 2 days per week from home). Professional development and CPD through varying project work, training and knowledge sharing. A benefits scheme including a good maternity leave package, cycle to work scheme and online discounts portal. Stability in your role – public sector security in a private sector industry.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity. We are committed to equal opportunity for all staff. We welcome applications from individuals regardless of age, any disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion, or belief.
