Due to increasing demand within the Yorkshire and Humber International Project, we are looking for a talented and ambitious colleague to join our Make Care Matter team on a fixed‑term or secondment basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a regional programme that supports ethical international recruitment across adult social care. You will help strengthen our capacity at a crucial time, contributing to meaningful work that improves recruitment outcomes for providers and supports displaced international workers already living in the UK.
As a Resourcing Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting both international workers and care providers throughout their recruitment journey. You will manage your own caseload of candidates, offering clear, expert guidance from initial enquiry through to matching and compliance. Working closely with the wider Yorkshire and Humber International Project team, you will act as a subject matter specialist for ethical international recruitment, helping providers navigate sponsorship requirements while ensuring workers receive safe, fair, and informed support. You will build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders, collaborate effectively with partners, and contribute to high‑quality recruitment activity that strengthens the adult social care workforce across the region.
To be successful as a Resourcing Officer, you will:
- Have experience managing a high volume of tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Demonstrate the ability to work successfully with stakeholders at various levels
- Possess strong problem‑solving skills, using your initiative to deliver bespoke solutions
- Have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service
- Be proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel
- Have experience in providing an excellent level of customer service.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management with the ability to build trust, guide providers through complex processes, and positively influence decision‑making across your caseload.
