Part time hours available: £12.72 per hour, £82.10 for a sleepover.

Why are we different?
We have two arms to our charity. The first being our supported living services where our staff support people in their own homes to live their best lives. Our staff support people to push boundaries and explore new opportunities, from overcoming anxieties to making that trip of a lifetime to America. The current role advertised is for our supported living, but there may be opportunities to also work in our day service, a small holding on the edge of Norton where we support people on the farm to care for various animal projects (alpaca, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, dogs and cats). People at the farm are supported to take part in workshops ranging from woodwork to welding. We also have a large poly tunnel where we grow our own fruit and veg.
Administrative tasks for all staff involve navigating an iPad to record their care activities.
What do you need to bring to the table?
Experience would be advantageous but not necessary as full training will be provided. We just need you to be a good person with the right values. We expect all our staff to demonstrate our organisational values: Caring, Respectful, Empowering, Trusting and having Integrity. Having the right attitudes and values will ensure you are delivering support to people in a way that you would only expect for yourself or someone you love. It really is that easy!
It would be advantageous for the new starter to be familiar with an iPad. It is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults at risk.
