Our approach to teaching is through topic-based learning, where children are empowered to take a lead and follow their interests.
This is a part-time position from 12:00pm-6.00pm on 2 days, ideally a Wednesday and Thursday, though this is open to negotiation. The role incorporates General Teaching Assistant, Midday Supervisor and After School Club Leader, with hours shown below:
- MSA - 2 hrs (12:00-1:00pm, 2 days), pay point 3 £25,949, pro rata to hours and term time only.
- Teaching Assistant - 5 hrs (1.00pm-3.30pm, 2 days), NJC scale pay point 4, £26,016 FTE, pro rata to hours and term time only working.
- After School Club Leader - 5 hrs (3.30pm—6.00pm, 2 days), pay point 6 to 9, £26,846 to £28,153 FTE, pro rata to hours and term time only working.
