The children, governors and staff of Kirkby and Great Broughton School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development across all Key Stages. Depending on experience and qualifications, you may be appointed as a General Teaching Assistant, Advanced Teaching Assistant (ATA), or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The hours of work are to be confirmed depending on the successful candidate.

- Work closely with teachers and colleagues to support high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
- Flexibility and the ability to work across all Key Stages are essential.
- Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects and age groups.
- Work with individuals and small groups to promote progress and achievement.

- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- HLTA status or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Experience of working in an educational setting (desirable).

- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
