The Headteacher and Governors of East Cowton Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to teach a mixed EYFS and KS1 class. We are looking for a candidate who is:
- An excellent classroom teacher with experience of working in EYFS and key stage 1
- An enthusiastic and hard-working team player
- Confident in their subject knowledge and able to extend and challenge pupils’ thinking
- A clear understanding of inclusion and SEND
- Energetic, motivated, positive with a can-do attitude, committed to high standards and expectations
- Resilient and flexible
- Personable with a good sense of humour
- Willing to support the Christian ethos of the school
- Willing to work in partnership with staff at the two other schools in our collaboration

A clear understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and the ability to plan, teach and assess a mixed aged class is essential. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead curriculum subjects across the collaboration and develop their leadership skills.
