What you will be doing

Due to the retirement of a long‑serving member of the team, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR practitioner to join us as an HR Business Partner. This role is varied, challenging and rewarding; you will act as the strategic HR partner for a portfolio of our largest multi‑academy trusts to support them to deliver their HR priorities, often seen as an extended member of their senior management teams. Your job is to partner with them to understand their individual context, culture, terms and conditions and policies in order to ensure that they receive a tailored service relative to their organisational needs. You need to be able to operate at a strategic level with a high level of credibility, advising CEOs, trustees, chief operating officers and other senior professionals as well as manage a complex employee relations caseload and day‑to‑day supervision of HR advisers. Given the highly autonomous, commercial and specialist nature of the role, we are ideally looking for an existing HRBP or a senior practitioner with extensive experience in the education sector.
