We are looking for Seasonal Parks and Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our vital service ensuring the Harrogate area is clean and welcoming for its residents, businesses and visitors to enjoy.

The role involves maintaining our high-quality open spaces including parks, highways, play areas and recreational spaces across Harrogate. This will be by undertaking grass cutting, general grounds maintenance and cleansing duties. You will be based at our Claro Road Depot, Harrogate, and we will supply you with full PPE for various machines and associated clothing. This is a great established team who are proud to deliver a high standard service across the area.

What you will bring:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality standard
  • The ability to work with others within the team
  • Experience working in an outdoor environment is ideal, but not essential as full training will be provided
  • A clean driving licence is desirable but not essential

Normal hours are 42 per week (07:30 to 16:30 – Monday to Thursday and 07:00 to 16:00 on Friday). If you are asked to work on a weekend, there will be an extra payment of £30 per weekend day worked.
