The Housing Standards team is responsible for ensuring North Yorkshire Council's social housing portfolio of approximately 9,000 homes ismaintained to meet current statutory, regulatory and legislative standards.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Supervisor(Career Graded) to join our Direct Delivery Team.
Your New Role As a Contract Supervisor, you will play a key role in theday-to-day management of contractor delivered services, ensuring quality, valuefor money and excellent customer outcomes.
Initially, your primary responsibility will be managing the Council's Removals and Storage Contract, supporting tenants through decants andensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely and sensitively.
As acareer graded role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills andexperience across a wider range of Housing Standards contracts and projects.
You will also provide support across other contract areas during periods ofannual leave, absence or increased service demand, helping to ensure servicecontinuity across the team.
About the Role
You will work closely with tenants, contractors, suppliersand internal teams to ensure services are delivered to agreed standards.
Responsibilities will include contract monitoring, performance management, maintaining accurate records, resolving operational issues, raising or workorders, processing of purchase orders and invoices and identifyingopportunities for service improvement.
The role offers a structured developmentpathway with training and support to progress through the career grade.

Additional Information Ability to travel across the county as required.
After training and induction has been completed hybrid working is allowed witha minimum of 2 days working from the Council offices.
Working hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm Fridays.
