We are looking to appoint a motivated After School Club Leader to create engaging activities for children aged 4 – 11. You will have the opportunity to independently deliver and supervise activities with the full support of the Headteacher to help with planning and resourcing activities.

- Individuals with experience of working with children, whether in play work, childcare, or educational settings.

Key Duties
- Welcome children warmly and keep accurate records of attendance so we always know who is joining the session.
- Deliver engaging activities, including safe, enjoyable, and imaginative games, crafts, and projects that encourage participation and enjoyment. (Support with planning and resources will be provided by the staff team)
- Prepare healthy snacks and refreshments, ensuring food hygiene standards are maintained alongside setup and tidying responsibilities.
- Create an inviting and organised environment with activities and resources prepared ready for each session.
- Provide calm and caring support, including basic first aid for minor bumps and scrapes.
- Support children with practical tasks, organisation of belongings, and general wellbeing throughout the session.
- Maintain clear supervision and promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where all children feel happy and secure.
An understanding of, and commitment to, providing high-quality childcare
An understanding of food hygiene requirements
The ability to plan and deliver safe, age-appropriate activities
Experience of working with children in a play work, childcare, or educational setting
A current first aid certificate is desirable but training will be provided by school if not in possession of a valid certificate.
