At Align Property Services, we’re looking for an ambitious and creative Graduate Marketing & Business Development Officer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic property services environment.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our marketing activities, strengthening our brand, and identifying opportunities to grow our business. Working closely with experienced professionals, you’ll gain hands-on experience across marketing campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and business development initiatives, giving you a well-rounded foundation for your future career.

A little more about your team… In the last year, Align’s Business Development team has doubled in size due to the increased amount of opportunities APS continues to receive from both North Yorkshire Council and external clients (from National Highways to Westmorland & Furness Council, NHS to National Wealth Fund). Every day there is a new challenge, a new opportunity and the potential for new business. Within the last year, our marketing initiatives have also been driven forward including the introduction of an events calendar (and organisation of events thereafter) and even the production of a brand-new website, ensuring our image reflects our strong reputation.

In 2025, Align won prestigious awards including SME Employer of the Year at the North Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards and Energy Consultant of the Year at the Regional Energy Efficiency Awards, also Highly commended nationally and receiving national recognition at the Department for Education Awards as SME Employer of the Year 2025. All of this, and more, has been made possible by the hard work and passion of the Business Development team who enjoy celebrating the success of both the staff and the company.

  • Supporting the delivery of impactful marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Helping to create engaging content, including social media, website updates, and promotional materials
  • Assisting with market research and identifying new business opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Supporting the preparation of bids, proposals, and client presentations
  • Monitoring and reporting on marketing performance and campaign effectiveness

What We’re Looking For:

  • A recent graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
  • A genuine interest in marketing, communications, and business growth
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a proactive mindset
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (experience with marketing tools is a bonus but not essential)

  • A Competitive salary up to £30,000 per year, dependent on your skills and experience
